What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?I attended the Academies of Loudoun for 4 years, so I am quite familiar with the testing process and the environment at ACL. I'm experienced in Calculus, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, along with modern physics. Additionally, I have taken AP Language & Composition, AP English Literature in high school, and I have taken writing-intensive Great Books & Philosophy classes in College, so I am proficient in my writing abilities.
What excites you about teaching and working with students?I love teaching because it allows me to help students develop a love for learning. Regardless of the subject I'm teaching, I always aim to do it in an interesting and productive way. The best way to shape our future is to help students realize that the process of learning something new is exciting and can be applied to whatever field they end up pursuing in the future.
Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?I am very involved with the band at Notre Dame, participating in 6 different ensembles. Additionally, I play several different instruments and enjoy expressing myself musically. I also enjoy reading, journaling, writing songs, and learning about modern physics.
