Where do you attend school and what activities are you involved in?

I attend the University of Virginia, earning a double major in Economics and Drama with a planned math minor.

What have your teaching opportunities been outside of Fairfax Collegiate?

I have taught debate and public speaking as of a captain on my high school debate team. I also lead and teach my improv team as president of "The Whethermen".

What subjects have you taught with Fairfax Collegiate in the past?

I started working with Fairfax Collegiate in 2024. I have previously taught many public speaking and math subjects including: Debate, Public Speaking, and Virginia Algebra.

What sort of experience have you had in the subject you’ll be teaching this summer?

I am a math minor and have taken many math courses that have given me a rich understanding of most math concepts. In public speaking I was speech and debate captain at my high school and have much experience in teaching and leading debate and public speaking practices. I also am a drama major and am very familiar with performance and public speaking technique.

What excites you about teaching and working with students?

I enjoy getting to work with the students and learn with them. Watching the students grow in experience over different topics is very fulfilling and enjoyable.

Outside of work, what are some hobbies you enjoy?

I'm the president of UVA's oldest improv group "The Whethermen." I also participate in many of the shows at UVA, and I greatly enjoy playing boardgames.
